Youth Camps 2012

Another year of youth camps have been successfully completed! We hosted 54 campers that will be going into 3rd-8th grade.

VolleyPooLooza DATE CHANGE

We have been informed, Due to a MSHSAA rule, our girls are unable to pay and/or participate in a fundraiser DURING the school year. Our options were to cancel or reschedule. Violation of this rule would make our players Ineligible for the upcoming season. 

We will host VolleyPooLooza on May 23rd (last day of school) from 3pm--until it's over. Starting at 3 will allow us to, hopefully, be done around 8 or 9pm. The girls will be dismissed from school at 1pm and should have time to go get snacks and set up the courts to get everything started by 3pm.

It is our hope that this date change is not an inconvenience. We ask that you inform all team members of this date/time change ASAP and encourage them to still participate. Who knows, maybe even more people can play now?!?!  

We appreciate your support in continuing to make this event successful!  Our sponsorships and teams that we have committed have us off to a great start!

Pre Season Conditioning -- New Times

Preseason conditioning will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am--1pm beginning June 5th and going through the end of July.  If you will be missing any dates due to work, camps, vacations, etc., please keep the coaches informed!

Spring Youth Camps

May 10th & 11th

6th--8th grade 3:45--5:45pm
3rd--5th grade 6:00--8:00pm
(grade level for the 2012/2013 school year)

Cost is $35 (checks payable to Kickapoo Volleychiefs), which includes camp instruction and a t-shirt.  If you know someone who is interested in attending one of our youth camps, email Coach Harris, kharris@spsmail.org, and a registration form will be sent to you.

Volleyball Showcase

Any player interested in playing college volleyball might want to consider this showcase. Skills tests will be conducted and college coaches will be available to talk. Please visit 4 State Sports on the web to register or for more information. 4statessports.com If you would like a better flyer, have your daughter see one of the coaches.

VOLLEYPOOLOOZA

• May 18th 3pm – 10pm


• High School kids are expected to Play or Work – those are your options. Details coming soon!

HILLCREST LEAGUE -- JV & FRESHMEN ONLY

• Every Monday in June (4, 11, 18, 25) @ Hillcrest High School


• Monday nights: One Frosh and One JV Team (First 10 players to commit)


• Time: 3-10pm (approx)

PRE-SEASON WORKOUTS

LICKING TEAM CAMP IN BRANSON – JV & Freshmen

• July 19th – 21st – We commute from Springfield each day

DEAD WEEK

• July 28th – August 5th -- There will be NO volleyball activities this week
