Congratulations to junior, Kinsey McCarter, for her Leadership Delegate award at the DECA District Competition. Kinsey earned the top award at the District 11 DECA competition and will have the opportunity to attend the Leadership Academy at the DECA State Career Development Conference in Lake of the Ozarks. This award is also an automatic bid to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL. Kinsey won the award by submitting an essay on "What Leadership Means to Me and My Future" and by interviewing with an area bank president. DECA is a co-curriculur activity at Kickapoo High Scool that coincides with the marketing classes. DECA strives to help students become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders.
